Trialist full-back from Brighton & Hove Albion who played in the testimonial against Brentford at the end of the 1971/72 season.

Scottish schoolboy international who played over 100 times for Queens Park, gaining youth and full amateur caps. Signed professionally for Brighton
& Hove Albion in August 1970 and made his debut against Torquay on the opening day of that season. Alex made twelve League appearances for the Albion, playing at both left and right back, scoring once. Joined Maidstone United in June 1972.
