Len Marlow
(1919/20 - 1921/22)
Len signed Athenian League forms for Kingstonian after returning from Mesopotania, where he served with K's player T.P. Sheedy, but played for Woodside, Merton Town, the Dons and Sutton United until his first game for Kingstonian, whern he scored one and created three in the 5-1 Amateur Cup tie against Tooting Town. However, Tooting appealed and the FA agreed he was ineligible and Town progressed to the next round. After 17 games and 20 goals for K's Marlow joined Huddersfield Town on a professional contract where he made a solitary Football League appearance as Town went on to lift the F.A. Cup. The following season he was transferred to Reading, and then joined Torquay United between 1925 and 1927, where he was joint top scorer with 25 goals in 1926/27 Championship season when they won promotion from the Southern League to the Football League, but he never made the Football League side the following season.
