Goalkeeper, nicknamed Ginger, who took over when Jim Haydock was injured towards the end of the 1949/50 season and shared the number one jersey until Haydock retired in 1950/51, but shocked the club by leaving for Corinthian League side Chesham United just a few weeks later, leaving third team youngster Ernie Hornett the Dons' only option in goal. Played against the Dons for Hounslow in 1952/53.
