Forward Viv joined Wimbledon, with younger brother Ronnie, soon after the outset of the Dons Isthmian League career in November 1921. He joined Ronnie at Brentford, making 4 appearances and scoring once during the 1924/25 season. He returned to Wimbledon, staying until the end of the decade apart from brief spells at Dulwich Hamlet and St. Albans City, and could be relied on to notch a goal every other game on average.
