Len, a right-back, known as Ginger, played for the Dons in the 1946/47 Amateur Cup final but left for Walton & Hersham at the start of the next season, then joined Leytonstone for 1948/49, where he gained four England Amateur international caps and played twice for the Football Association Amateur XI. Was playing regularly for Tooting & Mitcham in 1951/52 and 1952/53.
