In-form striker Reuben Reid grabbed a late equaliser as Plymouth salvaged a point against AFC Wimbledon.

Argyle's Lewis Alessandra forced Ross Worner into a decent save from 25 yards before Luke McCormick denied Dons' Michael Smith in a tight first half.

But Smith struck early after the break, heading home Peter Sweeney's cross.

The visitors belatedly found their attacking form and Ben Purrington's brilliant pass picked out Reid, who finished well from a tight angle.

It was Reid's fourth goal in three games and ensured Argyle kept up their unbeaten run over the Christmas period.
