AFC Wimbledon ladies continued their winning streak with a 4-0 victory over bottom placed Hassocks.

The ladies got off to a great start with an early goal on 8 minutes. This set the scene for the remainder of the game, as the Don's proved too strong for the opposition. The home side put in a solid display, with Dons keeper Tylee having a quiet afternoon. Striker Caz Bisson was on blistering form and netted all 4 goals, 1 from the penalty spot.

After the game, Dons Manager Lyons summed up his side's performance, "Caz was superb again today. Not only is she clinical in front of goal, but she also works very hard for the team. She's a super player, and her application is brilliant. Having said that, we're a tight collective and I was very happy with the whole squad today. Everyone played a part in the win, and the ladies were very professional in how they approached the game. At no point did we sit off and relax, and at half time we spoke about maintaining our work rate right up to the final whistle."

"I was also very happy to see both Linsey Clarke and Jess Trimnell get back to playing after so long out with injuries. Jess picked up an innocuous injury our third game and has been working her way back since then. Although she got some time at the end of the Crawley game, today was a better test for her, and she looked very strong. Scouse (Linsey Clarke) has had a really difficult start to her season, with a bad ligament tear, followed straight after that with a broken foot. It has been a difficult start to the season for them both, and today they showed great character and came back as if nothing had happened.

"Today's win consolidates our position in the top four, but we're not getting carried away with ourselves. We know there is a lot of football to be played, so we will just approach one week at a time, picking up points as we go."
