After joining from Hounslow spent two years spearheading the Dons attack, leading them to the Amateur Cup Final, but suffering an injury ten minutes into the first game at Middlesbrough and missing the replay. Left for Hayes in the summer of 1935 where he stayed a season - also playing a couple of games for Brentford reserves and twice representing the Athenian League in February 1936 - before moving on again to Kent League side Aylesford Paper Mills. Was still playing after the War, for Tooting & Mitcham.
