After Extra Time. 1-1 after 90 minutes

Kingstonian made two changes for the replay at Richmond Road, Porter at outside-left for Drawwater and Sorenson, a Danish dribbling winger, on the other side in place of Scott. Pat Field for the injured Ron Head was the only change for Wimbledon.

Jack Wallis put the visitors in front in the first half as the Dons toyed with their opponents, and they should have sealed it when awarded a penalty soon after the interval, but Hounslow saved Ken Lister’s spot-kick and the centre-back’s follow up. Whing made Wimbledon pay with an equaliser in the last minute of normal time, and a goal-less extra time meant a second replay was required.
